Micah Ecumenical Ministries, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit, governed by ten downtown churches in Fredericksburg, Virginia. The organization is a relationship-based ministry built on the foundation of  the Bible’s Micah 6:8. Since formation in 2005, we’ve worked to be the face of Christ in our community, serving neighbors in need by filling vital service gaps.  Our work has so far focused on the needs of the chronic homeless--those whose mental challenges, disabilities, background barriers and substance abuse issues keep them from succeeding in existing systems.  But agency founders envision a future of programs that will fill gaps for many other vulnerable populations.
